Ms. Sepiso Mungandi

Agricultural Economist and Agribusiness Specialist

Sepiso Mungandi is an Agricultural Economist and Agribusiness Specialist, currently working as District Agricultural Coordinator under the Ministry of Agriculture in Zambia. She holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Commerce from Massey University, New Zealand and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Zambia. Having worked in the agricultural sector since 2006, Sepiso has vast experience in Farm Management and Entrepreneurship skills, as well as Management and Leaderships skills. She also possesses competences in facilitation, curriculum and training manuals development, acquired through many years of conducting trainings in the Ministry of Agriculture and other local and international organisations, like the African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD). As a consultant, Sepiso has worked with international organisatons such as World Vision and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) on agricultural related matters. Additionally, she is a mentor and coach to a number of youths through the work she does under a non-profit organisation she co-founded, known as May-One Connect Foundation.
Salome Gitoho

Albert Tsindi

Crop scientist (Plant Breeder) and Trainer, University of Ghana

Albert Tsindi is a crop scientist who specializes in plant breeding. He has more than 15 years of working experience in agricultural production, training, capacity development, and research. He worked as a lecturer at Mutare Polytechnic in the Department of Horticulture, where he taught genetics and plant breeding, horticulture, floriculture, and plant protection. He has worked as a breeder with the soybean breeding team in Uganda and Zimbabwe. Albert is also an accredited MBTI practitioner. His focus is to be a leading breeder who is able to nurture, train, and mentor the next generation of African plant breeders, scientists, and policymakers. He brings passion and vast experience in leadership training, team building, mentoring, and curriculum development.
Dr. Maria G. Nassuna-Musoke

Ms. Monica Namumbya Kapiriri

Facilitator and Development Consultant

Ms. Monica Kapipiri is a facilitator and consultant with over 20 years of experience in training, program support, gender integration, monitoring, and evaluation. She has worked with both local and international NGOs, research institutions, and government agencies, including the EU, FARA, CARE International, RUFORUM, USAID, and the World Bank. Ms. Kapipiri holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management from the Makerere Institute for Environment and Natural Resource Management and a BSc in Forestry from the Faculty of Forestry, Makerere University. She also holds certificates in leadership and team management, negotiation skills, mainstreaming gender in policy, and development program formulation. She has published a number of books, including Sleeping Giant: Unleashing Africa’s Potential and Breaking the Shackles of Poverty. She has also written and presented several conference papers for RUFORUM, CGIAR, and FARA. Monica has been part of several AWARD course designs and brings to the A-TEAM several years of experience as an accomplished leadership trainer in management and mainstreaming gender policy, mentoring and coaching, and monitoring and evaluation.
