AWARD Trainer Florence Wandabwa Ambayo

Dr. Florence Wandabwa Ambayo (PsyD) is a distinguished Clinical Psychologist with over 17 years of experience in mental health, leadership development, and personal growth. She is a certified Career Analyst, Life Coach, MBTI® practitioner, and university lecturer who specializes in career counseling and helping individuals discover their purpose. She is also the founder of the Centre for Child and Adolescent Therapy(CFAT), where she provides expert guidance and support to young people navigating emotional, psychological, and developmental challenges. Dr. Ambayo played a pivotal role in establishing the Kenyan office of the Haggai Leadership Institute and has served with GIZ, an implementing partner for UNHCR, as a mental health expert. She also worked extensively as a trauma specialist across 13 countries in the Greater Horn of Africa region, offering professional support in some of the most complex and high-stress environments. A seasoned trainer, facilitator, and gifted singer, Dr. Ambayo has designed and led numerous high-impact workshops on leadership, mental wellness, resilience, and career growth. She is a sought-after motivational speaker and presenter, celebrated for her ability to blend professional expertise with cultural sensitivity and experiential learning approaches. Currently, as part of the ATEAM, she facilitates flagship leadership and mentoring programs.
