AWARD Trainer Adeline Rwashana Muheebwa

Facilitator and Development Consultant Ms. Adeline Rwashana Muheebwa is a Development Management Practitioner with a background in Agricultural Economics. Adeline has over 20 years of experience in Gender and Agricultural development work. Adeline is a bronze medal winner for the First ever “Create and Cook with Tooke Flour” competition, which involved developing a nutritious product for the young and nutritionally deficient. Adeline is a Gender trainer for AWARD and has previously worked with organizations such as the EU, ASARECA, USAID, IFAD, ILO/IPEC, and Winrock International. Adeline is a consultant for IFAD projects and participates in the Design, supervision, and Evaluation of missions. Adeline recently participated in the Social Environmental and Climate Assessment Procedures (SECAP) study to identify interventions that can address social aspects and risks related to women, youth, indigenous peoples, community health and safety, and especially vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities. Adeline holds a Master of Science degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Development Management from the Milton Keynes in United Kingdom, a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Makerere University in Uganda and several trainings in Gender and Development work. She is a co-Principal Investigator on an IDRC CLARE project on “Building women smallholder farmers’ empowerment and adaptive capacities.
