Maria Soumonni

Teacher / Training Consultant

Maria Soummoni is a teacher and training consultant. She has over two decades of experience in training gained from both teaching, and her work as a development consultant for UNDP and USAID. She holds a Master’s in French from Amadhu Bello University in Nigeria, and a Bachelor’s degree in French and English from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Maria is skilled in programme training and coordinating, gender and development issues, planning, management, and design, and brings to the ATEAM a renewed look into gender development issues and training, after several years of practice and experience.

Siaka Coulibaly

Training Consultant

Siaka Coulibaly is a language, cross-culture and diversity training specialist. He worked for the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso, mainly involved in training and preparing volunteers and host communities to accept, live and work together despite their cultural differences, for several years. Prior to that, he was a secondary school teacher. Siaka has also worked for other organizations involved in training activities such as Trade (Training for Development) and CFALC (Centre de Formation pour Adultes en Langues et Culture) and ICRAF. Siaka hold a Master of Arts degree from University of Ouagadougou. He brings a wealth of experience to the TEAM in leadership, mentoring and diversity and Inclusion.

Nalla Mbaye

Lecturer / Researcher

Nalla Mbaye is a lecturer and researcher at the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal. His area of specialization is in crop protection. He has extensive experience in training and research, and has been involved in designing and conducting capacity building sessions for the benefit of local communities and international organizations to support the development of sustainable and competitive agriculture. Nalla holds a PhD in Phytopathology. He trains the science skills courses, leadership and mentoring series for AWARD.
